PC4000 Backwall Transport for Rebuild
Moving a Komatsu PC4000 backwall from Haile Gold Mine to our shop for a full structural overhaul.

Project Overview
We hauled in the backwall from a Komatsu PC4000 shovel for a complete rebuild. This component is one of the heaviest, most critical structures on a large mining shovel, and transporting it requires real heavy-haul experience, proper rigging, and the right trailer setup. The backwall was moved from Haile Gold Mine and delivered to our shop where our weld and fabrication team will perform a full teardown and rebuild.
Scope of Work:
- Extracted, rigged, and loaded the PC4000 backwall
- Secured onto a multi-axle lowboy for safe long-distance haul
- Coordinated with Haile Gold Mine on teardown and loading procedures
- Transported the component to our rebuild facility
- Prepared backwall for structural repair and fabrication work
